Dr. Juan J. Zaiter Terc, M.D.

Juan J. Zaiter Terc M.D. is a gastroenterologist within the HIMAHEALTH network. He obtained his medical degree from the Universadad Autónoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He continued his training in internal medicine at the Lincoln Hospital in New York and became a fellow in gastroenterology at the University Hospital of the University of Puerto Rico.

Dr. Zaiter Terc is medically licensed in New York, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. He is a member of the Puerto Rican Society of Gastroenterology , the Puerto Rican Society of Therapeutic Endoscopy, the Dominican Society of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and was named a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and was President of Puerto Rican Society of Gastroenterology in 1990 - 1992.

Dr. Zaiter Terc has worked as a clinical instructor of medicine and as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. His work has been published on numerous occasions in the Médica de Puerto Rico. He was Director of the Endoscopy Division of University District Hospital for more than twenty (20) years.
