Getting Around in Puerto Rico

You’ll find Puerto Rico easy to travel to and to travel around. With a wealth of taxis, buses, trains, trolleys and rental vehicles, the traveler have many travel options. Taxis

Taxis tend to be concentrated in the tourist zones and offer published fixed rates to many destinations. For the busy metro areas, taxis tend to be the best bet, and most drivers are bilingual.

Car Rental

Most leading car rental companies are found on Puerto Rico, and many have offices in the San Juan airport. There are also local car rental agencies available. If you are planning on a stay with more remote travel, a rental car may prove to be the best choice. Trolley Tours

Old San Juan is one of the most charming tourist destinations with quaint shops, restaurants, cafes, cobbled streets and buildings dating back 500 years. A walking tour is an excellent to take it all in, but when you need a break, a free trolley will pick you up and make regular stops throughout this lovely old city.

Buses

Train

Ferries
