Dr. Alvin Lopez-Pujals M.D.

Alvin Lopez-Pujals M.D. is a board-certified urological surgeon within the HIMAHEALTH network. He received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Dr. Lopez-Pujals completed general surgery and urology residencies at the Puerto Rico School of Medicine Department of Surgery.

Dr. Lopez-Pujals completed a fellowship in endourology and laparoscopic surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He has served as a urological surgeon at Hospital HIMA San Pablo from 2003 to the present time and also serves as staff endourologist at the Puerto Rico Medical Center in San Juan.

Societies and memberships include Endourological Society, American Urological Association, Southeastern Section American Urological Association, Puerto Rico Urological Association, American Medical Association and Puerto Rico Medical Association.

Dr. Lopez-Pujals currently serves as an associate professor in urology at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.
