Dr. Diana Betancourt Alemán, M.D.

Diana Betancourt Alemán M.D. is a board-certified pediatric doctor within the HIMAHEALTH network. She received her medical degree from Central East University School of Medicine, San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. Dr. Alemán completed post-graduate internships in pediatrics at the Mayaguez Medical Center in Puerto Rico and at New York College, School of Medicine. Dr. Alemán completed a fellowship in pediatric pulmonary medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine.

Achievements include past facultative director of pediatric pulmonary at Louisiana Medical School, chief of pediatrics department at Kenner Regional Medical Center Kenner, Louisiana, clinical and assistant professor of pediatrics at Tulane University School of Medicine and director of the Home Ventilation and Sleep Apnea Program at the Children’s Hospital of Louisiana.
